Terms of use
Last updated: 22 April 2026.
Operator
Trigg is operated by Joseph Walford, a sole individual in the United Kingdom. Support, data requests, and complaints can be sent to info.trigg@gmail.com.
Using the app
By using Trigg you agree to these terms and confirm you are at least 16 years old and are allowed to connect the Strava account you use. Access can be suspended or removed if the service is abused or used unlawfully.
Strava connection
Trigg depends on Strava and may stop working correctly if Strava changes its API, scopes, rate limits, or terms. You are also bound by Strava’s own terms and privacy policies when connecting an account. Trigg does not act on behalf of Strava and is not endorsed or certified by Strava beyond standard API access.
Matching and accuracy
Pillar visits are inferred from GPS data and may be wrong. GPS drift, Strava processing, missing streams, map simplification, privacy zones, and source-data issues can all affect the result. Trigg is a best-effort tracker for personal use, not an official record or a safety tool.
User responsibilities
- Use the app lawfully and do not interfere with the service or attempt to access other users’ data.
- Only connect a Strava account you are entitled to use.
- Revoke access through the in-app disconnect button or Strava’s own settings if you no longer want to use the service.
- Apply normal outdoor judgement; Trigg is not navigation or safety guidance.
Availability and changes
The service may change, pause, or shut down at any time. Features, scoring, filters, and display rules may be updated without notice as the product evolves.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided as-is and without warranties. The operator is not liable for losses arising from downtime, inaccurate matches, data loss, or reliance on the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Contact and complaints
For data access, deletion, correction, support, or complaint requests, email info.trigg@gmail.com. If you prefer, you can also revoke Trigg from your Strava settings and use the in-app disconnect flow to delete stored athlete data immediately.
